Keeping Your Child Safe
To help us maintain a safe and secure environment, we ask parents and carers to follow these guidelines:
- Please do not allow your child to press the green exit buttons. These buttons are part of the nursery’s security system and are used only in emergencies or by staff when managing entry and exit safely.
- Children should wear shoes with Velcro fastenings or slip-on shoes. These are easier for children to manage independently and reduce the risk of trips caused by loose shoelaces.
- Please avoid shoes with shoelaces or open-toed sandals, as they can increase the risk of tripping or injury during active play.
- Children should wear stud earrings rather than hoop earrings. Hoop earrings can easily become caught during play, which may cause injury.
- Children should not wear necklaces, as they can get caught on equipment or clothing and may present a choking or strangulation risk.
Please ensure we always have your correct address and telephone number on record.
We ask parents and carers to provide three emergency contact numbers so that we can quickly reach a responsible adult if we are unable to contact you during an emergency.
